Spurs, Liverpool and the quest for trophies

Some will say for both teams, the product on the pitch alone is worth celebration. Some will say consistent Champions League participation is enough. There also those who say that this period of stability is an accomplishment. To understand the last point, let’s remember where these clubs were before their current managers.

Mohamed Salah: Fitting in at Liverpool

Mohamed Salah’s move from Roma to Liverpool appears all but done. The 25 year old who reached double figures in goals and assists in Serie A last term will join the Merseysiders for a lot of money (the exact amount remains unclear), and he’s an exciting addition to the team, and the league. The question is, of course, where does he fit in?

Liverpool FC: 2015/16 Season Review

Coutinho, Lallana and Henderson have become hot topics this season. Although they’ve all had bouts of brilliance, I am not sure that they can carry on being great contributors to the team. Personally, I think that these three players should be more consistent at this stage in their careers, but nothing tells me that it is happening anytime soon.
