Of all the unimportant things, football is the most important and so today amid all the actual important news, here’s the Coshcast’s for what we’ll generously call an hour’s mental relief.

It’s nearly Halloween and we start with Toronto FC who jack Atlanta’s win and hit astronomical heights by stealing the Galaxy’s points record.

It’s the Coshcast! Yes, like Liverpool’s defensive issues, we’re here every week. We start in MLS where Justin Morrow’s hat-trick came just in time to seal the Supporters’ Shield for Toronto FC. In the Premier League, City go to Stamford Bridge, put Chelsea neatly in De Bruyne paper bag and walk off home.
It’s the Coshcast and this week we’re chatting about what happened in New England as Toronto FC lost their second game in a row, and old England where Crystal Palace lost their sixth.
We’ve got all the latest covered from the Premier League where Rooney gets 100 hours of community service – that’s one for every yellow card he’s ever received, and today we’re also joined by special guest Joshua Kloke to go in depth on Toronto FC and review the latest from the Bundesliga.
In the Premier League City smash Liverpool as the curse of Oxlade Chamberlain continues and Sadio Mane creates a profile on Faceboot so that he can send his thoughts and prayers to Ederson. Elsewhere, Arsenal take a bite of the sour cherries, Mourinho is the only person in the world pining for Fellaini and for Swansea, we Renato ways to say that Sanches had a bad game.
City have so many questions to answer, Liverpool just look like they know a bit more about themselves. So in many ways, this match should give us an indication of both teams’ ability to challenge for the league and make their mark on the European stage.
It can surprise nobody that Alex Oxlade Chamberlain is choosing to leave Arsenal. His playing time has been hampered by injuries, his development stalled by mismanagement, his expectations messed with and his value to the club taken for granted until it was too late.
Arsenal get slammed by Liverpool’s press and then in the press and can’t even release a press statement as they agree sell their media and communications department to Chelsea for 35m.

Special guest Feroze Ali talks to us about Chelsea who possibly had too much fire and conspired to lose at home to Burnley, Crystal Palace wonder whether they made the right hire and Manchester United set West Ham atop a pire and burn them to ground.
Vieira turns to Pirlo and Giovinco becomes peerless as Toronto FC smash four past New York City FC and we team up with Daniel Rouse to preview the English Premier League season.
The problem has always been the AFCON’s influence on the European leagues. Up until the tournaments last edition, it was always held in the winter months which meant that eligible African players would have to miss anywhere between 3 to 6 fixtures for their European club teams in the crucial run in period. David Moyes has accepted his charge of misconduct without appeal, to make sure he is not banned for the relegation six pointer with Hull. He went against the advice of his players, who would have loved him to have been banned for that one.
