Meanwhile Spurs are fielding offers from Carling and Calrsberg such was the efficiency of their bottling operation at Newcastle.
Elsewhere, City scrape into the Champions League, Bayern Munich win a title and a Hummels, Gonzalo scores golazos to go Higuainto the record books and Barcelona win La Liga by defying all the odds to beat Granada, who are aptly named.
Finally there’s a Toronto FC update featuring by far the best player in MLS, Drew Moor, and a bumper Mumu of the Week, where we have tales of Lavezzi in China. Get on with it!
