The Cosh Boys were like children at Christmas this weekend as the glorious Premiership returned to us like a girlfriend who went to study abroad for the summer. Manchester Utd’s spiffy new 3-4-1-2 lasted just one Van Gaalf (half), Liverpool A managed to slip past Liverpool B, and City, Arsenal and Tottenham also picked up unconvincing victories. There’s also action from the German Super Cup! The Coshcast didn’t stop all summer, but the Premiership did, and my word it’s good to have it back … especially without Alan Hanson.
